Imagine a young child left looking on at a bad accident or fire while his/her parents are being attended to and the activity of an emergency scene is surrounding him or her. Stuffed animals are often used to provide comfort to these children at times of crisis.
Warren Fire Equipment is looking for Ohio Fire Departments that use this concept and would like their name to be entered into the 2012 Operation Bear Hugs drawing. We have hundreds of cuddly bears that need homes.
Winners will be posted at the Ohio Fire Chiefs' Conference in July within the W.F.E. booths. Teddy Bears can be picked up by the Chiefs throughout the weekend, or we'll deliver them to the department upon request.
