Survivair Cylinder Replacement Program

Survivair has made available to product users a Cylinder Valve Replacement Program for SCBA Cylinder and Valve Assemblies.  This program is available to those users who have had their cylinder valves repaired and reinstalled at the wrong torque.  Survivair specified torque for installing valves is 70 ft-lb. 

No valves at Survivair have ever failed, however an improper reinstallation can lead to valve failure and potential serious injury or death.  To determine if the repair of reinstallation you had done was at the Survivair specified torque you must have your cylinder valves tested at Warren Fire Equipment or another hydrostatic testing facility.  If it is determined that your cylinder valves have been repaired or reinstalled at the wrong torque, Survivair will will assist in making replacement easier by offering a deeply discounted price for a new cylinder valve.
